BSc (Hons) in Cyber Security (Top-Up)


Level 6 BSC in Cyber Security (Top – up)  makes up the final year (4th) of the undergraduate journey. The qualification is equivalent to the fourth year of an IT degree in the UK university. This course is ideal for those with a keen interest in Cyber Security. The course covers areas such as Dissertation and Cyber Security Management. The curriculum covers the principal requirements for popular commercial network certification schemes including Cisco and Microsoft. Students are encouraged to study these certification schemes alongside their degree. 


Level 6 BSC in Cyber Security qualification consists of 6 mandatory units total of 120 credits, 1,200 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT)and 480 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for the completed qualification.

For access to the Level 6 BSc in Cyber Security , you will usually meet the following criteria:

  • Level 4/5 Diploma in Information Technology, Computing, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Networking  or equivalent. 
  • Age 17+ in the year of registration.
  • GCSE Ordinary Level Grade C to Mathematics or equivalent.
  • GCSE Ordinary Level Grade C to English or equivalent.

We will accept every application on its own terms even if you don’t meet the standard specifications. Our Admissions Panel will assess whether you have any alternative / incomplete credentials or work experience appropriate for program entry
